In true LUXE style Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief  charity joins forces with stylish Lotus cars to auction off 8 special edition Evora Sports Cars to help mothers and babies in Haiti.

The “Naomi for Haiti” Evoras will be auctioned at the model’s Fashion for Relief  charity fashion show on the 18th of February at the LFW venue at Somerset House. The remaining “Naomi for Haiti” Evoras will be entered into an auction run on the “Naomi for Haiti” website and bidding will commence at 8am on this Friday 19th of February and will end at 12noon on 28th of February 2010.

Naomi Campbell says, “I am incredibly pleased to have teamed up with my great friend Gino Rosato, Director of Corporate of Affairs at Lotus for this important cause. He has a big a heart and also feels very touched about the recent tragedy in Haiti – we spent a full day brainstorming this project and we both want to help the mothers and babies who are most vulnerable.  The Lotus Evora auctions will be an amazing chance to raise much needed money for the victims of the earthquakes.”

Fashion For Relief was set up in 2005 to demonstrate the kind of contributions the fashion community can make to charitable causes. The first ever show was held in New York City that same year during NY fashion week, and raised more than $1million dollars for the Hurricane Katrina relief. In 2007 the event, held in London, raised an amazing £1million for the Rotary Flood & Disaster Appeal. In 2008, Naomi teamed up with Sarah Brown for the first time to host an unforgettable Fashion For Relief raising thousands for The White Ribbon Alliance and raising awareness of the charity. Last year Fashion For Relief travelled to Mumbai, India and Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania where the shows featured local models and celebrities.
