In the last three to five years we have certainly seen an increase in natural products filling the market place… a gimmick or is this the way forward?
As you already know CiCi LOVES her Dr Hauschka, a big player in the natural market, but let’s look at some other lesser known brands perhaps…
Just launched in the UK last week (27th Jan) Melvita, founded in 1983 from the French countryside boasts over 300 products in their head-to-toe and inside-out beauty range. Offering premium, eco, certified organic products the portfolio spans from face care through to bath & shower and food supplements. There is even something for the guys.
We cannot wait to try the Rosehip Seed Oil we believe everyone needs a good oil in their beauty regime especially at this time of year.
Next, Great Elm Physick Garden a brand that looks like it was rustled up in somebody’s kitchen in a cottage surrounded by luscious fields. It’s in fact from Somerset; set up in 2005 by two mothers, one a medicinal herbalist, the other a children’s rights campaigner, both on a mission to help us all feel great and share some of their profits with charities that help society’s neediest children. This tugs on our heart strings!
We can’t resist the sound of their Peppermint Lip Balm – it’s certainly one on our shopping list!
Let’s not forget Spiezia Organics, a firm favourite with many natural beauties out there, winning countless beauty awards and providing a wide range of absolutely gorgeous products. You can’t go wrong with a bit of their Lemongrass & Marigold Body Scrub - a yummy mix of natural brown sugars and calming calendula petals to help get rid of that lacklustre winter skin!
It feels good to be a little green fingered, Alan Titchmarsh eat your heart out!
