So, rumour has it Revlon will be launching their Scented Nail Enamels here in the UK next Spring…SC can indeed confirm this is not just a rumour and they will be hitting the shelves in March 2011! Woohoo! We absolutely LOVE Revlon’s Nail Enamels (yes, it’s enamels not polishes Revlon tell us), they have the best staying power and the range of shades is fab and so on trend. When we heard the Scented Nail Enamels were coming to the UK we couldn’t wait for our trip States side next month and had to have them NOW!

What’s the point of them? I hear you cry! Well, why not!?! The range of shades (Revlon will be taking 8 shades in the UK) are pretty and wearable, (well, I’m not too keen on Beach – the golden/green – but SiSi thinks it’s cool) the staying power is the same as the regular Nail Enamels AND you get a Brucie Bonus with the yummy fruity scents they give off when they dry. Make-up is all about having fun and Revlon have hit the nail on the head with these scented nail enamels and they will cost the same (£6.29), which is a relief!

So what do they smell like? Well each scent is pretty self explanatory based on the name of the shade. Here are the shades in order from left to right in my swatches.

1. Coconut Crush – My fave scent! Smell like coconut conditioner YUMMY!
2. Mad About Mango
3. Peach Smoothie
4. Bubble Gum
5. Pretty in Papaya
6. Beach – My least fave shade but smells just like Hawaiian Tropic sun lotion.
7. Passion Fruit
8. Ocean Breeze – This is such a cool shade and actually looks much better on and it smells like a beach/spa. It’s got a sort of salty/mineral scent going on, which really does remind you of being by the sea.

On the whole I think this is a really great collection and I have no doubts it will be a summer sell-out but get in there quick as the Revlon’s Scented Nail Enamels will only be around for a limited time so make sure you stock up and tantalise those all important senses!
